Egg Nog with powdered eggs
I thought it would be fun to post some Holiday recipes here for the next few weeks. I thought I'd start with one of my husband's favorites: Egg Nog. I'm not a huge fan of egg nog, so I will need you all to try this and let me know what you think. It was pretty simple and smelled great!
Egg Nog with Powdered Eggs:
- 4 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups instant milk powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Small pinch of ground clove
- 6 T. Whole egg powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Mix all ingredients in a large pot. Rise the heat slowly while whisking constantly until mixture is just about to boil (about 7 minutes) and remove from heat. Refrigerate over night. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon when ready to serve!
Now you can have egg nog any time of the year! Yay!

I just had eggnog for the first time in my life... Sunday (I know, what have I been waiting for?!). This looks like a great way to make it :)
Thanks for stopping by Emily!
Yummy!
